> Update on USCIS Forms Revisions and Validity
USCIS has revised a number of forms on its Website to reflect
new fees that went into effect on July 30, 2007. These forms will
bear a revision date of 7/30/07. During the course of upgrading the
forms page on the website, however, the USCIS incorrectly stated
that previous editions of certain forms would not be accepted,
including previous editions of Form I-485, Form I-765, Form I-129F,
and Form I-290B. For those forms, the USCIS has corrected the forms
page on its website to indicate that previous editions with revision
dates prior to 7/30/07 may be used. Note however, that in the case
of the Form I-129F, the only previous edition accepted is the
11/24/06 edition, and in the case of the I-290B, the only previous
edition accepted is the 2/26/06 edition. Members can check on the
validity of a particular edition of a form on forms page of the
USCIS website.
